Gallery Walk - Friday, May 24 3:00 pm-10:30 pm
It's time again to get your White Squirrel on! This year's May Gallery Walk and the White Squirrel Festival coincide: whoo-hoo!!!! Scurry on down to Hunters & Gatherers to start your celebration. Our Featured Artist is Brian Gaffney who creates bark-edged and mountain-inspired rustic furniture. His unique one-of-a-kind pieces would go great in your cabin in the woods or as a focal point in your early eclectic-style house. Our musical guest is Brandilyn Davidson and will be playing with her students outside the shop from 3 pm – 6 pm. The concoction is humbly suggested by the holiday: White Squirrelly Punchy Punch. We're gonna be here at 40 W. Main Street in Brevard just waiting for you!

We're carrying Cranberry Relish, Raspberry Brandy, Christmas Morning (a combo of Strawberries and Navel Oranges), Cinnamon/Mango, and Peach with Amaretto & Pecans jams. The pepper jellies include Hot Pepper Cherry, HP Orange, HP Mango, HP Blueberry and HP Key Lime. Ooooooh, Baby!

DELICIOUS APRIL SHOWERS CONCOCTION
For those of you at the Gallery Walk last night, you got to taste Lauren's rendition of "April Showers". Lots of good guesses for ingredients, but no winners last night. Here is the recipe so you can make it for your own Spring Celebration:
1 cup Vodka
3/4 cup Blue Curacao
1 1/2 bottles Sparkling Water
2 3/4 cup Blue Hawaiian Punch

Spring has sprung, we’ve said good-bye to snow and it’s time for the first Gallery Walk of 2013. Hunters & Gatherers is ready! We’ve a great summer of artists, entertainment and concoctions all lined up for you. We’re starting off our April Galley Walk with Joe Fazio as our musician and Lyn Lyndall is our new featured artist. Lyn creates incredibly detailed, Native American-inspired, hand-painted leather handbags. Okay, we've tried these preserves and hot pepper jellies and they-are-FABULOUS! Appalachian Harvest certainly knows what they are doing! (I will own up to eating half a jar all by myself - and I didn't feel a bit guilty!) We've already sold out of the Hot Pepper Jelly with Blueberry. But don't worry - we'll get more. My Shell, the Gatherer candidate and Brock, the Hunter candidate had wonderful rock solid platforms. But, by a very small margin, of just 3 votes, the Hunter is our new Clan Leader. Trick or treat? It’s up to you! Our October 26 Gallery Walk is gonna be great! We’re having Brandilyn Davidson back for music and Alice Greko is our Featured Artist. Alice takes beautiful photos and then uses her painting skills to continue the image into the frame. Each tromp l’oeil work is unique.
You can also sniff out Kim’s new line of scented soy candles. Pumpkin Frappuccino, Jack Frost and Roasting Chestnuts are just a few varieties that smell good enough to eat!
